Filtron (the “Company”) provides a 2-Year Comprehensive Warranty on all electrical components, along with an additional 3 Years of Free Preventive Service Support, valid from the date of purchase. This warranty ensures protection against manufacturing defects under normal domestic usage conditions, subject to the terms below
Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern purchases, the 90‑day Free Trial, warranty & service, returns, shipping, and use of this website and services.
Eligibility & Serviceability
Orders, trial pickups, and installation are available in Filtron serviceable pincodes; orders outside may be cancelled with a full refund before dispatch
warranty is valid only in India and applicable to the original purchaser of the product
warranty begins from the invoice date and is valid only when The product is registered within 10 days of purchase
valid purchase invoice is presented during service
Warranty includes:
Free repair/replacement of faulty electrical components for 2 years.
Free preventive service visits (labour only) for 3 years.
Consumables are not covered, including:
Sediment filter, carbon filter, RO membrane, UF, alkaline filter, UV lamp, TDS adjuster
Installation must be performed by an authorized Filtron technician. Improper or third-party installation voids the warranty
Any component replaced under warranty becomes the property of the Company
The Company reserves the right to inspect and determine whether the fault qualifies for warranty service
Warranty is non-transferable and applies only at the registered installation address
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Warranty will be void in the following cases:
Use of non-genuine filters or accessories
Service, repair, or modification by unauthorized persons
Physical damage, mishandling, misuse, or tampering
Improper electrical connection, dry running, wrong input water pressure or quality
Commercial, industrial, or non-domestic use
Damage during transport not organized by Filtron or its authorized partners
Missing, tampered, or unreadable serial number
Natural disasters or force majeure events (fire, flood, lightning, etc.)
90‑Day Free Trial
- Trial starts on installation and lasts 90 calendar days; use the product as per guidelines.
- Installation cost ₹1000
- Security deposit 25% of the purifier cost
- Any damage due to negligence or misuse will be your responsibility
- in case customer wants to buy water purifier after the end of free trial a total price of the purifier including installation charges needs to be paid just after the free trial is over. Payment needs to be made online only
- if payment is not received after free trial is over the filter will be removed from the premises
- if water purifier is removed from the premises,there will be no trial period provided upon reinstallation and reinstallation will incur a one time charge of ₹1000
- Cancel within trial or at least 7 days before the end of free trial to request free pickup and full refund of your security deposite after inspection; damage/missing accessories may reduce refund.
- If not cancelled by day 90, the purchase is final and standard coverage continues; disclose length, cancellation, and post‑trial outcome clearly.
Payments
- Accepted methods: UPI, cards, net‑banking via a PCI‑DSS compliant payment gateway; prices include GST unless otherwise stated.
- You must review and accept Refund/Cancellation, Privacy, and Shipping policies at checkout; these disclosures are commonly required by Indian gateways.
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
- During Trial: See Free Trial section for free pickup and refund process.
- Before Dispatch: Cancel anytime for a full refund.
- After Trial/Installation: Returns are not accepted except DOA within 7 days; issues are serviced under warranty/free service.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3–7 working days after pickup/inspection.
Shipping & Installation
- Dispatch within 24–48 hours; delivery typically 2–5 working days in metros and 4–7 in other locations; tracking shared via SMS/WhatsApp.
- Free standard installation; extra fittings (booster pump, adapters, additional piping) are chargeable after consent.
Privacy & Communications
By placing an order or creating a request, you consent to service communications via call, SMS, or WhatsApp; your data is handled per our Privacy Policy and payments via our gateway’s PCI‑DSS systems.
Sevice Support
- After the warranty period, services will be chargeable as per prevailing rates
- Consumables must be replaced at regular intervals to maintain purifier efficiency
